Master Y.G. Lee
Master Lee was born in the Republic of Korea (ROK - South Korea) on January, 19th 1960. He began his Tae Kwon Do training at the age of 12 in the Chang Moo Kwan Busan City Dojang and was trained under the watchful eye of Master Cho Jeung Deuk. In 1981, Master Lee joined the ROK Army and later became a member of the Special Forces. He was also a member of the ROK Army Special Forces Tae Kwon Do team, competing various tournaments in heavy weight class.
After completing his army service in 1985, Master Lee moved to the United Stats in pursuit of his dream - to influence positiveness to the community through the teaching of Tae Kwon Do. In 1989, Master Lee opened his first Tae Kwon Do school in Marina, CA. By 1991, Master Lee moved his studio to Monterey, CA and eventually opened a second studio in Salinas, CA by 1995. In 1999, Master Lee open another studio in Campbell, CA and has been teaching there since.
